A group of mommies and kiddos from our congregation planned a day trip to Six Flags. Altogether there were 30+ who made it. Not that we all stuck together the whole day but we'd meet here and there. There was a cute waterpark in the Safari section and by the end of the afternoon it was a great place to stop and let all the kids play. It was pretty hot there! I love our Six Flags Park, it's alot different than the other ones. It used to be called just Marine World and...hence the name, it had lots of animals to look at it. When they made it into a Six Flags Park all the animals stayed and the rides were just added. So you kind of get the best of both worlds. Animal shows + rollercoasters = Lots of fun!

We sat 4 rows from the pool for Shouka's whale show. It's considered the splash zone, but only our toes got splashed on, so it wasn't a big deal. They were great seats so Maddy really enjoyed watching the show.

We paid a little extra and were able to pet and feed a dolphin. Amie's trainer was a bit nicer than ours and let her hug her dolphin, she even got a kiss too! That was so much fun!

We saw a couple of animal shows, played around in the kiddie areas, walked through all of the animal exhibits (penguins, sharks, tigers, lions, giraffes, elephants, etc.) By 6:00 Maddy finally fell asleep in her stroller. We had 2 hours left until the park closed so we took turns going on grown-up roller coaster rides! Wu-hoo, lots of fun! We finished up right at 8:00, but stopped before the exit to grab a funnel cake. You can't go to an amusement park without eating one of those, right? Mmm... yum! It was so good. Maddy woke up as happy as could be and I got a few pictures of her right before we left. What a fun day!
