Our good friends, Keith & Tawny, came up for a visit. The first day they arrived, we dropped off the tot, and we drove over to the wine country. We stayed the night at a cute B & B. We spent the following day exploring some wineries and found some new favorites for sure! It was a very relaxing and fun getaway for the four of us.
The next day we got together with my family and took a day trip to the Redwoods. It was so beautiful. Madison loved all of the big tress. With every bend in the trail, it seemed to get darker and the trees got taller and taller. It felt like we were in a rainforest.
Instead of driving home for dinner, we drove south to San Francisco. We couldn't pass up the gorgeous view in Sausalito, so we stopped for a few pictures. It was a beautiful, clear day in the city.
We ate dinner and drove home that night. The next morning we made a big brunch and played board games at my parents. Then it was time to say goodbye. We had such a nice time with our friends and it was sad to see them go! In the meantime, we are looking forward to planning another fun adventure together!
